Keeping the blues at bay...

or in my case, regulating my serotonin.

I sat and made clay faces for my class last night and it was nice to be able to be still and clear my mind. I am realizing how important the hand work is to me and my mental health.

Robyn survived the procedure on Friday and is fine, no reflux was discovered. We went to a movie and had lunch out. It was pretty traumatic for both of us but we got through it.

The kids are doing ok with the school closing. I, on the other hand, am still pissed and feel completely betrayed by the school board. I think one of things that has me so worked up is that now my kids will be taking a bus. I really have been loving them walking and me walking with them. It is a great way to clear your mind and prepare for the day or unwind at the end of the day. Now it will be a loud smelly bus. I will have to work on some new before and after school rituals to help us all cope.
