Marks on paper. Experiential taken from Cathy Malchiodi's book The Art Therapy Sourcebook. Working with shapes and colors, gaining confidence with different mediums. I used artist crayons and built up the colors and then used a wet brush to blend. I just played for a while. trying to just be aware of the crayon on paper.
I can get a little obsessive when I get an idea or project in my head and it needs to incubate for a bit. I am working on making my art space completely usable. Hence the research in the Studios magazines. This is what it looks like now (tidied for photo op.)
I would like to have all my tools and mediums near by so I can see them. For me, out of sight is out of mind, very ADD. I bought a new Ott light the fills the space with wonderful clear light and now I am figuring out how to store things and still see them.
i will keep you updated on the progress.
